In this blog, in the wake of the New Year, we would like to shed more light on our very exclusive services for speakers, singers and those who are in need of non-surgical voice repair.

On February the 15th, we will be celebrating 33 years of our existence via The Royans Professional Vocal School and The Royans Institute forNon-Surgical Voice Repair.

Over these years, we have been improving not only our professional skills, but also our business acumen and conduct. Not only do we provide our clients with very professional and very unique (in its nature) instruction, we also provide, when needed, natural herbal and homeopathic treatment along with it. By now, it is a very well known fact that we are in a league of our own.

We are receiving clients from all over the Universe and, by the end of 2016, the estimated amount of clients (speakers, singers, voice repair patients combined) has, no doubt, exceeded 20,000!  We have been receiving people from all walks of life; all races, all creeds and all professions. Not only have we provided what they were looking for (professional, or not, speaking and singing); and in addition, we have treated and even cured all kinds of voice/vocal disorders, where doctors had just ”washed their hands” or, at best, had offered an invasive vocal surgery.

Now, when Ms. Yampolsky became a freelance practitioner, she is also traveling around the world and servicing those in need. She advocates a very exclusive technique, which is called the Vocal Science™.

Especially when people travel to her, she goes out of her way to make sure that her client(s) are comfortably accommodated, fed (primarily by her) and for those who drive on the left side of the road or would not feel comfortable enough to drive in an unknown city, she picks them up personally for arrival to the session and departure from the session.

If time permits, she does go out of her way to show her client(s) some Toronto attractions or (what’s more important) she personally drives them (if needed) to meet her handpicked associates who, on occasion, might add even more value to Diana’s services. Some voice repair cases are more difficult then others; and sometimes it is good (in addition) to get somebody else’s expertise.

Our New Year’s Resolution is such that we will be committed to improve (as much as we possibly can), our patients’ vocal health and health in general.

Our commitment (as it also had been) is to produce more singing stars, as well as to help the existing celebrity performers to acquire a Vocal Science™ technique, so that they would not have to face a vocal operation, and then (in many known cases) face the consequences of (suggested to them) Vocal Surgeries.

With respect of our “Total Communicator Program” for professional (and non-professional) speaking, we too are committed to improve upon it and will be delighted to here more and more of our clients’ healthy voices over TV, Radio and other media sources.

On this note, we would like to wish our very best to our existing clients/students, as well as to those who we haven’t met yet, but would be delighted to also provide them with all we’ve got in our arsenal…

Happy New Year to all and many, many more successful years to come, vocally and otherwise!

More and more phone calls and e-mails we are getting from people who have undergone related or non-related surgeries and who’s vocal cords and other parts of the vocal anatomy got damaged in the process. Recently, we had a few clients who had undergone thyroid removal (thyroidectomy) and all of them ended up with one of their vocal cords being paralyzed (vocal cord paresis).

One of our former clients who’s voice I fixed previously, but who (unfortunately, by not following the assigned protocol) ended up with having her papilloma growing, had been convinced by her ENT specialist to undergo not one, but two vocal surgeries. In the end, she ended up with what is called Sulcus Vocalis (vocal gap) and, thankfully, (just mild) Muscle Tension Dysphonia.

And lastly, a few hours ago, we got an e-mail from a professional person who recently undergone a biopsy procedure for her lung disorder. After the obvious intubation, she ended up with a very breathy, unclear and lower positioned voice. She told us that she read our blogs on Vocal Cord Paresis and felt that she now possesses very similar symptoms to what we have described in our publications.

The other day, I got her on the phone and could hardly make out what she was trying to convey to me.

This is a direct quote from her e-mail to us earlier today:
“I may as well end my life as without my voice I am nothing”

How sad is that?

Sad indeed!

Previously, she wrote that she wakes up with hope every morning that her voice is back to its normal state. Unfortunately though, by itself, it is not going to happen!

We however, with absolute certainty, can declare that WE CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Nevertheless, to rectify the serious voice damage, may take up to 50 hours of our unique voice instruction coupled with the finest herbal and homeopathic remedies to be applied on the wounded and disturbed throat flora.

The above aforementioned remedies will work best when the pressure of the sound is removed from the vocal anatomy. To do so, the one’s voice has to be restructured and practically re-channeled to the set of their facial muscles (sinus cavities). Those facial muscles will play the role of the natural resonator or amplifier for that matter.

However, the whole new vocal mechanism will work in its fullest capacity only when the abdominal muscles will be simultaneously engaged to work with the facial muscles in order to assure the support of the height of the lifted sound as well as the width (the body) of the sound. In this junction, the vocal anatomy would be put to “rest” and thus the healing will begin.

So the mechanics of voice and its application, will be healed, strengthened and reestablished. And, as a result, the vocal anatomy will become sound again!

Thus the mission of Non-SurgicalVoice Repair is accomplished.

In other words: YOUR better voice tomorrow, starts with US today!

In our roster, we have more and more people coming for voice repair and voice restoration, but also, actually, to “find” their voice.

We have clients who come to us and who have tried everything else, especially through the means of the Internet.

Some of those people are very computer savvy and are able to really deeply surf and navigate voice-related sites. They are trying to save money and not to travel anywhere for their voice problems and needs. And eventually, accomplishing nothing to what they were looking for, they have also managed to incur a vocal damage while at it.

One of the commercials for men’s weight loss that is running very often on our Canadian media, where the guy who promotes his system on how to efficiently lose wait for men, has a slogan, “if you could do it yourself, you would have don’t it already!”

Isn’t that that truth!

So, eventually, those “smart” individuals end up in my studio where now I have to find the lost voice, discover it and uncover it, restore it and channel it through the right facial and body muscles and cavities.

What do I mean by channeling the voice through different muscles and cavities?

I mean that the voice has to be supported, structured, placed and projected to its aimed destination, utilizing certain facial and body cavities.

Via special speech and singing exercises, coupled with certain body movements, I am able to access designated muscles and cavities and channel the damaged, low positioned voice in such a way that that sound becomes, at least, quadruple times amplified.

The range increases exponentially, and mainly, the pitch in this equation becomes correct, as the alignment between the subconscious and conscious mind has been achieved.

In some more severe voice repair cases, this approach is extremely crucial, as the main agenda is to relieve the vocal box from the pressure of the sound and then, by applying natural herbal and homeopathic remedies, heal the throat flora and vocal box as a whole.

So save yourself time and aggravation (nevertheless, your voice) and don’t attempted to do something on your own, which requires many years of experience and expertise.
